OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Pioneer Dance Team placed first in the Small Dance Division of the 2012 West Qualifying Group Dance Championships.

Among the schools the Pioneers were competing against in the all-girl dance category were Ottawa University of Kansas, Texas Wesleyan and Oklahoma City University.

Members of the WBU Dance Team, which will now advance to the NCA/NDA NAIA College Nationals on April 11-15 in Daytona Beach, Fla. are seniors Danielle Arnold and Alyssa Powledge; juniors Jessica Salazar, Kyli Smith, and Courtney Floth; and freshman Madison Ecsedy.
