The Pioneers, 36-11 overall and 15-9 in the Sooner Athletic Conference, have returned to the NAIA Top 25 for the first time since March 24th jumping two spots this week to the #24 position. WBU has won 10 of its last 11 games and is among the national leaders in numerous categories, including strikeouts per game (2nd), slugging percentage (3rd), home runs (3rd), runs batted in (5th), runs scored (6th), and hits (8th).
Individually, senior second baseman Brett Cook is second in NAIA hits per game (1.8), 4th in runs scored (1.5), 8th in batting average (.475) and ninth in total bases (3.1). On the mound, Marcus Limon continues to lead the NAIA in strikeouts per nine innings (14.72). Todd Weldon is third in wins (10) and sixth in strikeouts (12.77). Ben Seymore is tied for the national lead with a perfect fielding percentage.
