Keliesha Ross, an 11-time All-American at WBU, has also earned NAIA Scholar Athlete honors.
Keliesha Ross, an 11-time All-American at WBU, has also earned NAIA Scholar Athlete honors.

Wayland Baptist track and field star Keliesha Ross has been named a 2009 Daktronics/NAIA Scholar Athlete. A two-time 2009 NAIA National Champion in the outdoor 4x100-meter relay and an All-American in the 4x400-meter relay, Ross is a junior from Arlington, Tex.

Ross, who has won All-American honors 11 times during her three years at Wayland, has a double major in Education and Business.

All-American Scholar Athletes must be nominated by their head coach, be a junior or above in academic standing, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and meet certain statistical criteria.
