The Pioneer men's cross country team has returned to the NAIA Top 25. WBU received 168 votes to move up to 24th place in this week's standings which were released Wednesday afternoon.

Led by freshman Hildon Boen, the Wayland men have turned in two strong performances in the past two weeks, including a second place finish at the Subway/SPC Cross Country Festival held last weekend in Levelland, Tex., and a fifth place showing two weekends ago at the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Okla.

Oklahoma Baptist, at #15, is the only other Sooner Athletic Conference squad in the coaches poll.

Coach Brian Whitlock's squad has this weekend off in order to prepare for the NAIA Mid-States Classic to be held Oct. 24 in Winfield, Kan.
