The 2009 Pioneer Track Festival is scheduled for Saturday, December 5 at Hilliard Field on the Wayland Baptist campus. Participants get to enjoy a day of fun and frolic with the WBU Track Team, including members of the four-time NAIA National Champion Women's Team.

Events start at noon and include fun events like a Lime and Spoon Race, a Sack Race, an Obstacle Race, a Hola Hoop Contest, a 3-Legged Race, an Egg in the Basket Race, the 800-meter Walk and a Hot Dog Eating Contest. The featured track races are the 60-, 150-, 300-, 600-, and 800-meter dashes, along with the 1600-meter relay.

All events will be divided into seven different age groups from 10-and-under to over-50. Exciting door prizes will also be given away.
