Wayland Baptist sophomore Erika Raymond has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 22-28.

Raymond, a 5-11 forward from Plainview, averaged 21.5 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals for the Flying Queens. Wayland Baptist defeated Mid-America Christian and took No. 6 Oklahoma City to overtime before losing. Raymond hit 6-of-12 three point attempts, was a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line, and also had a blocked shot on the week.
