OKLAHOMA CITY - The Sooner Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament will be contested this week at Jim Wade Stadium on the campus of Oklahoma City University.

The tournament begins Monday starting with No. 1 seed and regular-season SAC champion Lubbock Christian (Texas) meeting No. 6 seed Rogers State at 10 a.m.

Other games Monday will be No. 2 seed OCU facing No. 5 Northwestern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m., then third-seeded Wayland Baptist (Texas) vs. fourth-seeded Southern Nazarene at 4 p.m. There will be an elimination game at 7 p.m. Monday.

Teams will be competing for spots in the NAIA Championship Opening-Round Tournament on May 18-21. The top 45 teams in the NAIA rankings will make the field.
