Wayland Baptist men's soccer coach Shiloh Posey has added five new players to the Fall 2010 roster. Among that group is a goalkeeper, three midfielders and a defender.

David Metcalfe is a goalkeeper from Britain. The midfielders include Aaron Kurtz of Wichita Falls, Ian Robertson of Yuma, Ariz., and Cody McClary of Amarillo. Jorge' Vela from Albuquerque is the defender.

Kurtz will be graduating soon from Wichita Falls' Rider High School. He was an honorable mention All-District 9-4A selection in 2009-10. Robertson, a 6'0, 160 pound midfielder, played last season at Hill College, while McClary is transferring from Garden City Community College. A 2008 1st team All-District 3-4A honoree, McClary played for the Raiders of Randall High School.

Vela played at Highland High School in Albuqerque.

The Pioneers will kick off their second season in just a little over three months. They have two scrimmages on the road before taking on Texas Wesleyan University on August 30 at Hilliard Field in the 2010 season opener.
