SHAWNEE, Okla. --- The Pioneer track and field team posted two new provisional qualifying marks to the NAIA National Outdoor Championship field and improved two previous qualifying seeds at the Oklahoma Baptist Last Chance Meet.

Freshmen Edward Taragon and Hildon Boen both provisionally qualified in a new event, the 1500-meters, on Thursday night.  Taragon ran the race in a time of 3:56.01, while Boen crossed the finish line in 3:56.75. 

Sprinters Bianca Grant and Leandria Lee improved their seeding in the 100-meters.  Grant finished first at OBU in a time of 12.04, while Lee was second in 12.12. 

This was the last meet for the WBU athletes before the NAIA Championships which will be held May 27-29 at the Oudoor Sports Complete in Marion, Ind.
