Wayland men's golf coach Tom Harp has signed Blake Cooksey of Carl Albert High School in Oklahoma City to a letter of intent to join the Pioneer golf team next fall.

Cooksey helped lead the Titan golf team to an Academic State Championship and to a runner-up place finish at the 2009-10 Oklahoma State Championships.

A 4.0 student, Cooksey plans on majoring in business with a speciality in health care. He is the son of Steve and Shelley Cooksey.
