SILVIS, Ill. --- Rainy weather hindered play at TPC at Deere Run Golf Course on day three of the 59th Annual NAIA Men's Golf Championships, but the Wayland Baptist Pioneers managed to hold onto their place in the standings and make the final cut for Friday's final round.

The Pioneers combined to shoot a 317 on Thursday to give them a 54-hole total of 921. That's good enough for a tie for 13th place in the standings. Only one team scored lower than 300 on the day, and just three individuals shot an even par 71.

Oklahoma City and Malone University both totaled scores of 304 to tie at 896 overall and share the lead after three rounds of play. Oklahoma Christian University and South Carolina Beaufort, both 898 overall, are three strokes ahead of Grand View University (Iowa), who shot the lowest team score of the day at 291 and completes the top five standings.

Wayland's Michael Loppnow remains in the top 20 in the individual standings after shooting an eight-over 79. The junior is in a tie for 15th place with a ten-over 223. Junior Matthew Webb and sophomore Bradley Sinnett also shot 79's on Thursday. Webb's total going into the final round is 233, while Sinett is at 236. Freshmen Jimmy Lu (80-7780-237) and Yohann Vora (79-74-89-240) are also competing for the Pioneers.

Friday's round, composed of the top 17 teams and top 40 individuals, begins at 7:30 a.m.
