Throughout the 2010 year, the Athletic Department at Wayland Baptist University will celebrate its All-Decade Teams in each in-season sport. This week, it is time to announce the Pioneer Men's Golf Team of the Decade.
The All-Decade team is composed of outstanding performers on the links from 2000 through 2009.
Pioneer Men's Golf All-Decade Team:

Jeff Dagg (2004-08): Like Brumley, Dagg competed at the NAIA Championships in each of his four seasons as a Pioneer. He won the first individual tournament championship in WBU history with his first place showing at the 2006 Peak's Classic. Dagg earned 1st team All-American honors in 2007, helping lead the Wayland men to a runner-up finish at the NAIA Championships. The Canadian finished third at nationals that year, earning All-Tournament honors, and was the recipient of the 2007 Manning Trophy as the Wayland golfer with the lowest average for the year. He wrapped up his Pioneer career in 2008 as a 2nd team All-American and as the team Most Valuable Player.

Kirstein, a native of South Africa who transferred from Midland Junior College to Wayland, finished sixth at the 2007 championships and in a tie for tenth in 2008.
