Tom Harp is in his 11th year as the head coach of the Wayland Baptist University golf programs. His men's teams have made seven straight appearances at the NAIA Championship Tournament, highlighted by a runner-up finish in 2007.

In its fourth year, the Pioneer women's team has already won one tournament title, the 2009 Mustang Desert Classic, and has produced one NAIA All-American. Last year, the Wayland women made their first NAIA Championship Tournament appearance after just missing qualifying for the post-season tourney the previous two seasons.

Coach Harp and his wife, Maury, have two children, Megan (14) and Jaden (4).
