Tom Harp is in his eighth year as the head coach of the Wayland Baptist University men's golf team. His teams have made six straight appearances at the NAIA Championship Tournament, highlighted by a runner-up finish in 2007.

Coach Harp is looking forward to the 2008-2009 season and is excited about the new players who have been added to the roster. Coach Harp and the team are looking forward to new challenges they will be faced with this year as they play high quality tournaments and teams.

Former Wayland Baptist NAIA All-American golfer J.J. Brumley moves into the role of Pioneer's student assistant and will have the added responsiblity of watching over the new women's golf program during the 2008-09 season.

The 2007 2nd team All-American played on four national tournament qualifying teams during his career at WBU. He was named to the 2006 and 2007 NAIA National All-Tournament teams.
