Chuck Love returns to the collegiate coaching level after spending last year as an assistant boy's basketball coach at Alva (Okla.) High School. 

A 2009 graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Coach Love played two seasons for the Rangers before joining the coaching staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2008.  The Rangers advanced to the NAIA Men's Championship tournament twice during his three years in Alva.

Love began his collegiate playing career at State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Mo., where he was an all-conference selection.  He then transferred to Southwest Missouri State-West Plains for one year.

A native of Kansas City, Mo., where he attended Grandview High School, Love did volunteer work for youth events in the Kansas City area.  He and his wife, Charmaine, have a son Chucky who is four.  He is currently working toward a Master's Degree in Secondary Education at Wayland.
