A senior and two freshmen were honored by Pioneer men's soccer coach Jamath Shoffner at the WBU Fall Athletic Awards Reception held Tuesday evening.

Cody McClary, the Pioneer soccer team's senior captain, has been honored as a 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete.

Two freshmen members of the Wayland Baptist men's soccer team recently received accolades by the Sooner Athletic Conference.  

CHICKASHA, Okla. --- The most successful soccer season in Wayland Baptist history came to a close on Friday afternoon as the Pioneer men fell 3-1 to #25 University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in the first round of the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament.

Cody McClary, a senior midfielder on the Wayland Baptist men's soccer team, has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District 7 team.
