
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially released the first and second round pairings for the 16th Annual NAIA Women's Golf National Championships, held May 25 - 28 at Meadowbrook Golf Course in Rapid City, S.D. The Wayland Baptist women's team, in its second year of play, just missed making the cut, but sophomore Charlotte Guilleux earned an automatic qualification as a returning All-Tournament Team member from 2009.

EDMOND, Okla. --- The Wayland Baptist women's golf team finished fourth at the 2010 Sooner Athletic Conference Championship held Monday and Tuesday at River Oaks Golf Club. The 16th-ranked Pioneers finished 29 strokes in front of 5th place Oklahoma Baptist with a 36-hole total of 665 (332-333).

The Wayland Baptist women's golf team has some work to do in tomorrow's final round of the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship. The Pioneers are 12 strokes in back of third place Oklahoma City after Monday's first round.

EDMOND, Okla. - The Wayland Baptist women's golf team heads into this week's Sooner Athletic Conference Championships ranked 16th in the NAIA. Three other teams in the conference are ranked ahead of the Pioneer women, including top-ranked Oklahoma City University which will be attempting to win its seventh consecutive conference title on Monday and Tuesday at River Oaks Golf Club.

DESOTO, Tex. --- Pioneer sophomore Charlotte Guilleux captured her second straight individual title at the 2010 Bluebonnet Classic, hosted by Northwood University at Thorntree Country Club. Guilleux, who won the Mustang Intercollegiate last week in Albuquerque, came from two strokes back to take the winner's trophy. She was tied for second with a four-over par 76 after Monday's first round, and then hit a 78 on Tuesday to finish at 154.
