EDMOND, Okla. --- Jessen Tucker scored 17 points to help lead the Wayland Baptist Flying Queens to a 75-62 win over Oklahoma Christian at the Eagles Nest on Thursday night.

Wayland Baptist forward Erika Raymond has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District 7 College Division Women's Basketball team, according to information released Thursday by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Thanks, USAO, the Wayland Baptist Flying Queens needed that. Coming off a tough loss Thursday, the Queens turned in a dominant performance Saturday afternoon at Hutcherson Center, drilling Science & Arts of Oklahoma 73-40.
Alex Williams posted her fifth double-double of the season on Thursday evening at Hutcherson Center, but the Flying Queens couldn't overcome a late run by #16 Southern Nazarene in the 77-71 loss.
Very little went according to plan for the Flying Queens on Saturday afternoon in a 67-55 home loss to Rogers State.
Coach Tory Bryant's squad was unable to find its shooting rhythm early, starting out 3-of-27 from the floor, and although they were able to stay within striking distance, Bryant believes that cold beginning proved fatal.
