The Wayland Baptist women's soccer team opened its season with a 4-2 loss at home against Texas Wesleyan University on Monday.

The Fall 2010 soccer season officially gets underway at Wayland Baptist University on Monday when the Pioneer women's and men's teams kick off against Texas Wesleyan University at Hilliard Field. The women's game begins at 5 pm, followed by the men at 7 pm.

The Wayland Baptist women's soccer team will have at least ten new faces when the Fall 2010 season gets underway in just over four months time. Pioneer head coach Shiloh Posey and his staff have been busy during the off-season trying to add more talent to their team which finished a disappointing 3-13 last fall.

Chickasha, Okla.---The Wayland Baptist soccer season came to a close Tuesday afternoon with both the Pioneer men and women dropping 10-0 decisions to the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.

It was Senior Day at Hilliard Field on Friday afternoon, so it was only fitting that Pioneer senior T.J. Nolen picked up the only Wayland goal of the day as Oklahoma Baptist swept a conference doubleheader, 5-0 in the women's game and 6-1 in the men's contest.
