PRIMM, Nev. --- The #12 Wayland Baptist women's golfers opened their spring season with an 8th place finish at the CBU Spring Break Classic held at the Primm Valley Golf Club. The WBU women took 11 strokes off their first round total of 342 on a cold and wet Tuesday to finish with a 673.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Wayland Baptist men's and women's golf teams are both ranked #14 in the preseason NAIA Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released last week by the national office. Oklahoma City University is the No. 1 team in both polls.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Wayland Baptist's Charlotte Guilleaux shot a 2-over 73 in Tuesday's final round to win the individual title of the Oklahoma City Star Classic presented by Cusack Meats at Lincoln Park Golf Course.

Sophomore Charlotte Guilleux is in a tie for second place, one stroke behind the leader, at the Oklahoma City Star Classic held at Lincoln Park Golf Course in Oklahoma City.  The Wayland women are currently in fifth place after Monday's opening round of play.  

The Wayland Baptist women's golf team improved their first round score by five strokes to finish in eighth place at the Grand Canyon Fall Invitational held Monday and Tuesday at Coldwater Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
