LUBBOCK, Texas --- The Wayland women's soccer team completed its 2011 season with a 1-1 tie in double overtime against Lubbock Christian on a sunny Tuesday afternoon.  The tie brought the Pioneers record to 6-10-2 overall and 1-8-2 in conference action.  The six wins are the most by a team in the eight-year history of women's soccer at Wayland.

Hilliard Field claims a different feeling than it did this time last year. Head Coach Shiloh Posey is now allowed to devote all his time to the girls' squad, and the women's soccer team has already produced four more victories than all of last season.  Even in the losses this fall, the Pioneer women have been much more competitive.
