Wayland Baptist volleyball coach Jim Giacomazzi has added another player to his 2012 roster.  Amanda Grimes, a 5'10 hitter from Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas has signed a letter of intent to play for the Pioneers.

Wayland Baptist volleyball coach Jim Giacomazzi has signed Frank Phillips College sophomore setter Grecia Rivera to a letter of intent to play volleyball for the Pioneers next fall.

Chelsey Driskill of Frenship High School has signed a letter of intent to become a member of the 2012 Wayland Baptist Pioneer volleyball team.  The signing took place on Thursday in front of friends and family at Frenship High.

Kate Trejos, a senior from Bogota, Colombia was named Most Valuable Player of the Pioneer volleyball team at a reception on Tuesday evening honoring the 2011 WBU Fall Athletic teams. 

Pioneer volleyball players Whitney Bryant, Alissa Hodgson and Kimberli Harger have been named as 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes.
